Responsibilities
Each translation request must be finalised with a firm and final order including the price agreed upon by the parties. This order will be signed by traditional mail or electronic mail.
The price unit for a translation is the word in the source language, except special agreements.
In case of cancellation by the customer, the work already done will be invoiced at 100% and the remaining work to be done at 50%.
Invoices are net, without discount and payable within 5 business days upon receipt of the work.
Any delay or failure to pay will result in the immediate payment of all amounts owed by the customer, for whatever reason, without prior notice or other formality. In addition, we reserve the right to charge interest for past due invoice. In all cases, the client will have to reimburse the costs incurred for the recovery of the sums due.
In the event of late payment, orders in progress will be suspended.
We cannot be made morally or materially responsible for claims motivated by nuances of style. Notably, in advertising, it is only the execution of a translation and we cannot be required to write in an advertising style different from that of the source text. Our liability is limited exclusively to the amount of the invoice.
Any complaint needs to be sent by recorded delivery and received no later than seven calendar days after the delivery of the work. It must be accompanied by the original documents and the disputed translations. Past this delay, the translation will be considered correct.
If the customer is not satisfied with the translation, we will propose a new translation as soon as possible. It is on the latter that the final judgment of the quality of the document will rest. However, we remain the sole judges of the relevance of such disputes and the decision to refund.
Confidentiality
We will do everything in our power, within the limits of the electronic form of the services, to keep the greatest confidentiality on all texts and personal information entrusted by the client for the sole purpose of the translation.
The nature of the work undertaken, and all the information provided by the client will be the subject of the greatest confidentiality.
All estimates are free of charge and do not bind the client to any sort of commitment taking up a service. For more information, do not hesitate to contact us.
